What should I expect when visiting?
Every service begins with worship and praise! Our music is often lively and our congregation participates actively in worship through singing, clapping, and sometimes lifting hands.
You are welcome to participate or simply observe—whatever makes you most comfortable. If
you are sensitive to noise, ear plugs are available.
If you come early, we may be in our pre-service prayer time. You are welcome to join us for
prayer up to ½ hour before service starts.
If you come after church has begun, you’ll likely walk in on the Worship service. Feel free to sit
wherever you’re comfortable and sing along with us.
You can learn more about what to expect before, during, and after service here.

What is the Holy Ghost?
The Holy Ghost is another term to refer to the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of God.
The Bible says the Holy Ghost is a gift that God gives to us (Luke 11:13) and is His Spirit living and working in you! (1 Cor. 6:19)
God uses the Holy Ghost working in us to teach, comfort, and empower us! (John 14:26, Acts 1:8)
Why do people speak in tongues?
The Bible teaches that speaking in other tongues (or a language you don’t know and weren’t taught) is the initial evidence of receiving God’s gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4).
At Landmark, it is common to hear people speaking in tongues. The Bible describes speaking in tongues as a sign of belief in God (Mark 16:17), a spiritual gift for personal edification and prayer (1 Cor. 14:2-4) and, when interpreted, strengthening of the church (1 Cor 14:4-5, 13-15)
Why do we need the Holy Ghost?
The Bible says in Romans 8, that we need the Spirit of God dwelling in us to be saved, (Romans 8:9-11). When we receive the Holy Ghost and obey His plan of Salvation, we become His children and heirs to His Kingdom, (Romans 8:15-18).
God also uses the Holy Ghost working in us to teach, comfort, and empower us! (John 14:26, Acts 1:8). The Bible says that peace, righteousness, and joy is found in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17) as well as the fruit of the Spirit which is: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, (Galatians 5:22-23).
It is by the Holy Ghost working in us that we become more like Christ.
How can I receive the gift of the Holy Ghost?
The Bible teaches us that the one requirement for receiving God’s gift of the Holy Ghost is repentance. The Bible says in Acts 2:38 that if you repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You can be filled with the Holy Ghost before baptism, but repentance must come first. The Word of God tells us in Romans 3:23 that ALL men have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We must lay that sin down on the altar to receive this precious gift of His Spirit. You can be filled with His Spirit in any place and at any time. If you come to the church, we will pray with you.
What is ‘Apostolic Pentecostal’?
‘Apostolic’ refers to our desire to follow the teachings and practices of Jesus’ Apostles.
‘Pentecostal’ refers to the experience of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2.
At Landmark Apostolic Church, we strive to be a living testament that the same outpouring of the Holy Spirit the Church received in Acts 2 is available to believers today.

Do you offer Ladies’ Ministry?
Yes! It is exciting to know that God included a place in the body for women and has given the freedom to work in the various missions and ministries for which each lady has a burden.
Our ladies gather together on the second Thursday of every month for prayer and fellowship.
We also have various activities throughout the year, specially designed for women, to help our ladies grow in their relationships with God and each other and their leadership.
Do you offer Men’s Ministry?
Yes! A group of men from the church gather every Saturday morning for prayer and fellowship. Depending on the week, they may share breakfast together, work on improvement projects around the church, participate in community outreach, or serve in other ways.
Our goal is to encourage and strengthen men to be Godly husbands, fathers, and leaders. These times together provide opportunities for support, fellowship, mentoring, and discipleship.
